Oloron Actualités : Le Tour de France cycliste
On the roads of the Tour de France during the 1914 edition, the control point of Oloron-Sainte-Marie is an opportunity for cyclists to grab in a hurry a supply bag or to refresh themselves for some moments. The main street of the village, especially prepared with food stalls or mechanics, is the place of this exchange between cyclists and their teams. But this is also the opportunity for the spectators and onlookers to get a little closer to these extraordinary men with the looks of sunproof adventurers who are preparing to face the insurmountable peaks of the Pyrenees.
