Les Pyrénées
The protagonists of this film are the Pyrenees, with their snowy peaks immersed in the mist, their raging waterfalls and their villages hidden at the bottom of valleys. The charm and the harshness of their landscapes alternate with the skilled gestures of the Basque pelota players, the pride of the shepherd with his flock or the hard toil of the workers in the marble quarries. The mountains and their inhabitants are immortalized together.
