Oloron actualités : Danses espagnoles

The festival of the Oloron Sainte-Marie Station is the opportunity to exhibit the traditional Spanish folklore. Dances like the sardana, the jota or the muiñeira are performed before an audience in their Sunday, best both curious and amused. The dancers in traditional costumes jump and spin around, performing the steps to the sound of the instruments –guitar and mandolin– played by the musicians on the spot.
