[Lasserre, mon village]
A series about travelling by car brings us to the heart of the village of Lasserre, where one of its inhabitants was able to film the many activities of the daily life. The postman delivering mail, the game of petanque, the public water pump, the surrounding farms and their animals... Some sequences are recorded with an almost documentary eye. Among the highlights: the manufacture of bread, mess at the exit of the oven; the farrier shoeing the hooves of a horse or the home distiller taking care of the boiling and manipulating his still. Playing a key role in the life of the village, the square is the place of exchange between its people, the marketplace, children's games, newly-weds leaving the church and also the setting for the famous village festival with a ball and its orchestra, followed the day after by a charming flower parade.
