Batallons de muntanya

Documentary about the training undertaken by the soldiers of the Pyrenees mountain battalions, units created by the Republic for its defence. Soldiers perform marching exercises on snowy terrain under the supervision of their commanding officers and instructors. Images of exercises on foot and on skis, climbing practices with ice axe and first-aid drill and transport of an injured person. The unit returns skiing to the base camp.
