La catastrophe du Roussillon

In 1940, floods affected from 16 to 20 October the Pyrenees-Orientales, Aude and the Spanish Catalunya. There were more than 300 deaths in Catalunya, 50 in France, half of them in Amelie-les-Bains and its surroundings. This newsreel shows the devastating effects of the flood in Arles-sur-Tech and the visit of the Secretary of State for Agriculture Pierre Caziot.
