Soleils du Roussillon

On the principle of an ever-present sun in any season, at sea or in the mountains, the film explores the various sport and cultural tourist attractions of the Pyrénées Orientales. Perpignan is a lively Mediterranean city, which from the spring moves to the rhythms of the Sardana. Medieval art is also very present in Roussillon, and so St Michel de Cuxa hosts the annual festival of Prades which was founded by Pau Casals. This area is also home to many artists and artisans (blacksmiths, weavers, potters, sculptors). Catalan culture is still alive and well and the wine is notable and diversified. Finally, the spa sector is amongst the most effective of France and the sea offers many activities including water sports.
