En Roussillon: le Vallespir
Views of Perpignan: Palace of the Kings of Majorca, the Castillet, Place de la Loge. From Perpignan, a bus travels to Vallespir, a valley rich in rivers and waterfalls. The Spas of Boulou, Amelie-les-Bains and La Preste can treat ailments such as a sore throat or rheumatism. Art treasures lie dormant in Arles-sur-Tech in the Abbey of Notre Dame, where we can admire magnificent baroque reredos, or in Ceret, where we can see modern art painters. We also stop over in Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans and Prats-de-Mollo, Coustouges, Serralongue and Saint-Ferreol. The tradition is still alive in these villages, where sardana is still danced.
