Rentrée des classes à Perpignan
In this short clip we see the start of school in 1950 to Torcatis primary school and to Espinet kindergarten located on Avenue Jean Mermoz in Perpignan. We see the oldest filling the hallway before returning to class to listen to the teacher. For the younger ones, it is the time for rounds and games in the yard, but also the time of distress of having to leave mom. This film is an extract from "Roussillon Magazine # 16," a series of events filmed between 1949 and 1952 by Louis Llech, amateur Perpignan filmmaker and member of the « Club des Amateurs Cinéastes du Roussillon ».
