1 - Public competition of songs and skits, music with orchestras; election of Miss Canet. 2 - Great festival of the schools (or Landit): parades in the streets of Perpignan of young girls dressed in Greek costumes and then young men marching to the Velodrome: highly choreographed opening ceremony. In the stadium, we witness athletic events (relay race, jumping events ...) and dances. The event ends with a dance of young Marianas.
