La Vraie France

A propaganda film for the Legion of French Volunteers against Bolshevism. It follows chronologically the young history of the LVF with fighting on the Eastern front and against supporters in western Russia. This is an opportunity to criticize the USSR showing poverty, desecrated churches and children dying beside the "palace" of power. We see young volunteer soldiers looking joyous from the front, visited by the Secretary of State Mr De Brinon in June 1943 in the east. It accompanies Hitler to Kathyn where we see the mass graves of Polish officers. In August 1943, decorated soldiers of the LVF visit invalides. It shows the CO Demessine, the CO Curnier and Laval. The conclusion of the film encourages young people to join in the fight against the bombings of the Allies and the depravation of youth.
